Big book of smiles

The Big Book of Smiles

A 4-YEAR BICYCLE EXPEDITION ACROSS THE GLOBE, CAPTURING THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF JOY

46,000 km • 39 countries • 1200+ captured smiles

Could this book be for you?

If you could use a little more happiness, a little more faith in people, and a little more courage to follow your own path, this book might be for you. And maybe for someone you love, too.

It started with my first bicycle journey.

In 2015, I left my career in IT, sold almost everything I owned and set off on my first bicycle journey with my friend, Ádám.

Four years later, we had cycled 46,000 kilometres through 39 countries.

Along the way, I started photographing the people I met. By the time I arrived home, I had collected more than 1,200 smiles.

This book grew out of those encounters: photographs, short stories and reflections from four years on the road.
